While working on a music video, String helps a country singer whose manager plans to kill her in an effort to boost album sales.

Country singer, Roxanne Marvel is marked for death by her Manager/ex-Husband, Nick de Soto, who plans to substitute a double for his self-willed client. When Hawke and Dominic befriend the singer, they become involved in an effort to save her from danger.
